Title: Director – AI, Digital, and Journey Management Sales – North America  

Location: Remote position in US.

As a Sales Leader in our Experience Transformation (XT) team, your primary responsibility will be to lead and manage a team of sales specialists (overlay) focused on our AI, Digital, and Journey Management solutions to achieve sales targets and drive revenue growth. This is a highly strategic and fast-growing area of the business, and the XT team is responsible for accelerating its growth in the field.

You will be responsible for developing and implementing effective sales strategies, coaching and mentoring the sales specialist team, and fostering a high-performance culture. You and your team will work closely with Sales Leaders and Account Executives in the core sales organization, as well as other functional areas like marketing, to execute the XT sales strategy in your territory. Your team’s success will require a blend of territory and account planning, field enablement and evangelism, and subject matter expertise.

Qualifications and Skills:

·       10+ years of experience in software sales or related fields (e.g., solution consulting), with 3+ years of proven success mentoring and coaching teams.

·       Experience developing sales strategies and managing complex deals (including multiple stakeholders, geographies, multiple departments).

·       Solid understanding of enterprise sales methodologies and sales process best practices.

·       Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with customers, colleagues, and leadership.

·       Results-oriented and target-driven mindset.

·       Subject matter expertise and sales experience in AI strongly preferred.  

·       Up to 30% travel required

Leadership and Team Management:

·       Lead, motivate, and manage a team of sales specialists, providing guidance, support, and mentorship.

·       Set clear performance expectations and sales targets for team members and monitor team progress.

·       Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide feedback, and identify training and development needs.

·       Foster a positive and collaborative team environment, encouraging teamwork and a customer-centric mindset.

Sales Strategy and Planning:

·       Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify sales opportunities and potential risks.

·       Partner with peers in core sales organization to develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve business objectives and revenue targets

·       Collaborate with other cross-functional teams to align sales strategies with marketing initiatives and product development plans.

·       Set sales quotas and targets for individuals and the team, and monitor performance against these goals.

Sales Operations and Process Improvement:

·       Implement and optimize the sales processes (the “Genesys Way of Selling”), methodologies (MEDDPICC), and tools to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

·       Ensure accurate and timely sales forecasting, reporting, and pipeline management.

·       Identify areas for process improvement and implement corrective measures to enhance sales performance and customer satisfaction.

·       Prepare regular sales reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting key performance indicators and sales results.
