As the Director of Product Modeling (AI & Data Science) within the Treasury Capital Markets Modeling organization you will lead the team responsible for deposit, margin and securities lending balance modeling and analytics. Your team will create important insights for executive stakeholders to intuitively explain balance movements and support executive decision making. Additionally, the team is producing model-driven inputs for the net interest revenue, interest rate and market risk, and Capital Stress Testing forecasting process. You will lead initiatives to drive the efficacy of existing models and processes along with increasing the speed and efficiency of creating forecasts and scenarios. To do this, you are ready to leverage your deep experience in big data, artificial intelligence, machine learning, econometrics, and modern software development in a highly controlled environment in compliance with both internal and regulatory requirements. Since your team’s output serves as critical input to both the broader Treasury/Finance and the Product organization, your client focused mindset enables you to collaborate closely with a wide range of teams. What you have **Required** - 10+ years of experience in a publicly traded complex financial services corporate environment with a strong track record of developing, automating and documenting models. Time spent in post-graduate studies will also be considered. - 4+ years of experience of leading a highly quantitative team in a complex financial service corporate environment. - Bachelor’s degree with a strong quantitative component (Applied Math, Statistics, Economics, Physics, (Financial) Engineering), a graduate degree is required (Master/Ph.D.) - Highly experienced in extracting and analyzing data from relational databases (e.g., via SQL) - Solid understanding of statistical concepts and practical experience using statistical techniques to extract insights from large datasets. - Strong programming skills in a modern programming language (e.g., Python, C++) and extensive experience with a rigorous change management process required. - Creative thinker with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to stay calm under challenging circumstances. - Strong leadership, strategic vision, and management skills. - Facilitate a team-based approach to subject matter management and knowledge sharing, and comfort with a flexible, agile environment emphasizing collaboration and team performance over management hierarchy. - A successful track record of driving priorities, accountability, and delivering results. - Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint **Preferred** - Previous deposit/margin balance modeling and analytics experience is a big plus - Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills; excellent ability to communicate information effectively internally to drive cross-functional alignment and action. - Passion for service, professionalism, positivity, a strong work ethic with a high level of integrity, attention to detail, and teamwork. - Strong emotional intelligence/maturity and executive presence.
