Join us today and experience Life at Visa.</p><h2>Job Description</h2><p>We are seeking a highly skilled and analytical Business Intelligence and Data Insights Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transforming data into actionable insights, supporting data-driven decision-making processes, and contributing to the overall success of the End User Support operations.</p><h3>Essential Functions:</h3><ul><li>Proactively facilitate the overall analytic delivery strategy for the organization.</li><li>Work closely with stakeholders to understand their goals and determine how data can be used to achieve those goals.</li><li>Design, manage and maintain business intelligence solutions using data visualization tools.</li><li>Perform detailed analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights within the data.</li><li>Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics, and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality.</li><li>Interpret data and analyze results using statistical techniques.</li><li>Filter and clean data, and review reports, printouts, and performance indicators to locate and correct code problems.</li><li>Collaborate with teams to integrate systems and data for better data analysis.</li><li>Present data insights and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and compelling manner.</li><li>Analyze complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that drive business decisions.</li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into data solutions.</li><li>Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in business intelligence and data analytics.</li><li>Deploy frameworks, approaches, solutions and recommendations that effectively and efficiently address the most impactful opportunities and challenges</li><li>Get to an understanding of root problems, define analytical objectives, and formalize data requirements for various types of analyses.</li><li>Combine and analyze disparate data sources and independently perform analysis to render robust, thoughtful results.</li><li>Compare client performance against industry best practices with a shrewd eye toward identifying performance and/or profitability improvement opportunity.</li></ul><p>This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.</p><h3>Qualifications</h3><h4>Basic Qualifications</h4><ul><li>5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelors Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD</li></ul><h4>Preferred Qualifications</h4><ul><li>6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD</li><li>Experience visualizing data with tools like Tableau, advanced Tableau skills,</li><li>High level of proficiency manipulating data from a variety of sources</li><li>Hands on experience with one or more data analysis/programming</li><li>Strong experience in delivering business value using AI/ML, data-driven solutions and business intelligence tools.</li><li>A proven track record demonstrating an ability to manipulate, process, and extract value from extensive datasets at scale.</li><li>Demonstrated outstanding problem-solving skills to innovate solutions and solve business problems.</li><li>Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills are required, showcasing an ability to translate complex technical data into compelling narratives.</li><li>Must be proficient in all MS Office applications with advanced Excel spreadsheet skills</li></ul><h3>Additional Information</h3><p><strong>Work Hours:</strong> Varies upon the needs of the department.</p><p><strong>Travel Requirements:</strong> This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.</p><p><strong>Mental/Physical Requirements:</strong> This position will be performed in an office setting. Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
